Not sure what to say?

I can't believe that it will be a year, since John left his family and friends. I think of John often and all the goofy things that he did over the years. John was like a little brother to me. I pray that he is at peace and I pray that Pam, his children and the rest of his family will be comforted on this anniversary of his passing.

Dear John,

It doesn't seem like you've been gone a year. You are missed very much by us all. I have no doubt you are keeping all your heavenly companions entertained with your stories and antics. You are in my thoughts everyday and if makes me smile to think of you. I love you little brother.

Thinking about you today - and always. We love you and miss you very much.

You are the star that shines on top the Christmas tree. You are the angel that guards over your family and lights their way. You are God's grace that carries love, peace and joy to us all. Merry Christmas little brother. I love you and I miss you.

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday little brother.......Happy Birthday to yyoooouuuuuuuuu!!!!!

In the past month I've had several memories of John as a boy. Here are a couple of those memories: John was about 8 or 10 when he noticed a plate/bowl full of goodies on the kitchen table. He was told he couldn't have any of it until after he ate lunch (of maybe dinner). John had his eye on one particular piece and was so frustrated thinking that piece would be gone by the time he finished eating, so he licked it in front of everyone there, to make sure he got that particular piece.

When I first met John, he was at his mother's home surrounded by his family. John was my son's brother-in-law, but Skip loved him like a brother. Every time I saw John he was bubbling over with an enthusiasm for life and a never-ending love for his family and friends.
After I moved away from Cincinnati, I only got to see him a couple of times a year. When John saw me in a room, he'd flash that big smile of his, cross the room and greet me with a big, warm hug. Once you knew John, you...

I don't know what to say...This was such a shock! I met John at Great American. We started talking because we both had a son named Austin. From that point on, he was a great friend. We stayed in touch through all the relocations. He was a great guy. We have all lost a great friend but have also gained a guardian angel...

I cannot believe that John has left this world. I just finished reading through the guest book, and read many wonderful things about John. They are all true. He was a wonderful person...energetic, loving, friendly, hard-working....most of all, dedicated to his wife and kids. John befriended me when I first came on board at Manhattan in 1988. He was the first person that made me feel welcome. I will always remember John and his wonderful smile, it was very contagious and difficult not to be in...
