John was born on August 31, 1940 and passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017. John was a resident of Iowa. John graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 1974. He served in the US Army 101st ABN Div from 1958 to 1962. A celebration of his life will be held at the Atrium at Clarke University on Tuesday May 9 2017 from 4-8 pm with a memorial service at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Clarke University the Dubuque Dream Center DuRide or a charity of your choice.

Tom, Terry and Steve: I'm so sorry for your loss, I have alot of great memeries, and will truly miss your Dad! He was a great man! He was always a phone call away, no matter what time of day....I have yet to find one vet that was half the vet your Dad was, and not one of them cared as much as he did..... my heart breaks, again I'm so sorry.
