Dear Mrs Hawken, Sally, Tom and David, I was sadden to learn of Coach's passing. Yet, like many others who played for Coach Hawken, I am very fortunate and greatful for having stepped into his "world". I remember you having the 68-69 team over for sloppy joes after having won the G.C.C. I have many fond memories thanks to Jack. I thank you and the kids for sharing Coach with us. God Bless.

What a great guy Jack was! I'll always remember him giving his name as Wesley Runk (I think that was it)when waiting to be seated at restaurants,helping my daughters with math, and phoning us on mornings when Kenston cancelled school. My condolences to Pat,Tom,Sally,David and the grandkids.

I remember him well. .he was a wonderful coach at Maple my brother loved & played BB all 3 yrs back then. Thoughts & prayers...again..wonderful man/coach.
