Not sure what to say?

So sorry to read of John´s passing. I was familiar with his photography through friendship with cousin John and Maybelle Haynsworth. Lee Haynsworth Forbes, Savannah, Ga.

Just ran across obit. Njohn was a great friend of mine in nyc. Lots of memories.

One of the favorite photographs of our son was taken by John when he was about three years old. His artistic eye will be missed by all. All our love, thoughts and prayers are with Denise and the entire family.

John, I will never forget our fun times in New Mexico with Denise and Giana. You were an artist of the highest form and you made me feel beautiful when you took my picture. You captured the true essence of your subjects in film. It is sad that you will not be around us anymore but I am sure you will be entertaining all of the folks you encounter in Heaven and they will be laughing just as we did together here on Earth. Love to all your children and the family. You will be missed tremendously.

Roger and I are so sad to lose a great friend. And our hearts go out to his entire family. He was a lot of fun and we enjoyed being with him many times. John was so talented and we cherish all of the photos that he took of us and our family. We will miss him greatly.

It was an honor and a pleasure to have known John. My family and I were fortunate to have been photographed by him (a very generous gift from Holy & Tom). I gave John a ride to the airport after he had been to Highland Park and on the way out to the car he took some pictures of my daughter, then 3 yrs old. A few weeks later a package arrived in the mail and it was one of the pictures John had taken of my daughter. Needless to say it was the perfect picture and a very generous and much...

I will always treasure the beautiful photographs John took of me, my husband and my daughter Tamara the day after he photographed Brooke Wilson's wedding. (his niece).
John truly had a gift and his work will live on. May he rest in peace.

Dear John: Thanks so much for immortallizing in photograph, I met you in 1986, you and your great family, and when you decided to take my photos, I asked "Will I look good?", and your response to me was, "I can make anybody look good" well..you didn't dissappoint!
