Not sure what to say?

I knew John Hayslett as a colleague and friend for all my professional life at Yale. He was a wise and compassionate physician, a relevant investigator and an excellent teacher. His final illness was difficult and he met the challenge with exemplary bravery. Our condolences to his loving family.

My father, David Seligson, appreciated his companionship as sailing partner for many years.

My deepest sympathy to Francoise for her loss.

Francoise: we just saw the announcement today, and have missed calling hours. We were so fond of John and our thoughts are with you. Love, Beth and Joel

Dr. Hayslett was a true "gentleman". He was meticulous regarding science, meticulous about his hobbies (sailing and hiking), and meticulous about his hair and beard! He was a great physician, Director of the PA program and PA educator! He will always be remembered. Aviv Halpert RPA-C Yale PA Class of 2001.

I had a rare opportunity to share office space with Dr. Hayslett three years ago when I joined the Nephrology faculty. I came to know him as a very caring and loving person!!! He loved to discuss science and would always ask me about the progress of my own research projects! I wish him peace and my sincere condolences to his family !!

May the healing force of love and support ease this difficult time for all of you.
