Not sure what to say?

Uncle John and Aunt Mildred were very special people. They seemed always to be in a jovial mood; gentle, smiling and listening. John was my Dad's first cousin and the same age. They had a lasting friendship. I send my sincerest sympathy to the cousins. Fondly, Emily

John Hearn and my father Joseph P. Thompson were first cousins.
I never met John Hearn but heard about him through the years -
especially a Battle of the Bulge story in which his survival was
attributed to the finding of an Infant of Prague statue which he found in
the rubble and carried with him. So family legend has it.

May God bless you, Sandy and your family during this time of grief.
