As you know, I had the opportunity to know John and his family as a volunteer with the Boy Scout program. He tirelessly volunteered his talents while providing the BSA program to many youth climbing the trail from Cub Scouts through the Boy Scout Eagle rank. At meetings, John would sit back take it all in while others would be voicing their opinions. (Some would even think he was sleeping; but, we know he was just forming his thoughts.)
