I remember our Senior prom at Eastover, I don't swim and found myself at the bottom of the pool, John jumped in and saved me. He always stopped and talked whenever he saw us. He will be missed. I remember our conversation about when you married John and although I only met him once...it was clear that you were happy. How time passes so quickly. I pray for you to find peace in time. my condolences to all who knew and loved "THE Pencil Man" he was just an all around great guy, who gave me many pencils back in the day when i worked for the Berkshire Eagle. he had the best sense of humor and will be missed by many.

My sincere condolences to JD and Noreen. I met John when he was the Pencil Man. He would often visit Berkshire Ambulance where I was employed. I observed John to always be pleasant, professional and enthusiastic. JD presents himself the same. John will be sorely missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of John. I remember him when we were in Pittsfield High School. RIP John.
