Mr. Heckard was a very nice man. I remember him from our neighborhood growing up. He was driving past our house one day when my father was teaching my sister and I both how to ride our bikes. He stopped, got out and helped my dad teach us. I use to see him every morning going to high school. He always said good morning. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Heckard, John, Rick and the family. May you all find peace together.
