Not sure what to say?

I am Douglas Heimark and was one of Dr Jacks (as he was known in the family) patients back in the middle to late 1950s. He was a favorite of the family. He and my father were very close. I am going to miss him a whole lot. May He Rest In Peace.

Dear Ann, My old friend Laura, and the rest of the Heimark clan,
My sincere sympathy in the loss of a great man of strong character and gentle manner. I knew him as Lauri's Dad in my youth and always loved any chance to be in the home of Mom and Dad Heimark. They always made me feel wanted and special. As an adult I worked alongside Jack and Ann to raise funds for Pathstone Living and was so fortunate to have them as mentors and role models in volunteerism and philanthropy. They will...

Dr Heimark was a wonderful doctor to work with. He always took time to help a new nurse learn the ropes at the clinic and to teach us. He would have us come listen to an interesting case and then give us some background on the disease process to help us become better nurses. I truly enjoyed what little time I had to work with him. He was truly missed in the Internal Medicine department - such a contagious smile. Peace be with his family. Z Gens LPN/IM

To Dr. Heimark's Family,

Dr. Heimark was a very caring person and always had time for his patients. He was my primary physician for 35 years.

My sympathy to you in the loss of this wonderful man.

Dearest Ann and Family -

I was Dr. Heimark's secretary from 1991-1997 at the Mankato Clinic. He always had an amazing spirit and respect for life. He lived his life to the fullest and left me in awe of his personal and professional accomplishments. He made an impression on me that lasts to this day. He loved being a physician but loved his family even more. He always made time in his busy day to sit and chat and I loved hearing his stories of mountain climbing and white water...

I had the privilege of working with Dr. Heimark at ISJ Hospital and then at the Mankato Clinic. He was a very kind man and truly cared for his patients. He was also good to those he worked with.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Heimark family at this difficult time.
