Not sure what to say?

I just learned of his passing after a quick google of one of my favorite professors - Dr. Jack Heitner was a most unique person and I hope he has finally connected with the UFOs he once spoke of. He was a great person and, even though I'm late, I wish him the best in the next life. Long live Dr. Heitner.

Dr. Heitner you were always so kind and generous with your knowledge. You taught me about freedom with responsibility and opened my mind to the possibilities of the universe. Thank you for your lifetime of service.

Condolences to the family. Jack helped to shape and build part of my journey. A part I reflect upon often, and share frequently. Much Love.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed a couple of classes with Jack at CCSU (mid-1980s), especially Mysticism - very memorable. He was a deep thinker, a true believer and a kind man. I was sorry to see his obituary.

I had Professor Heitner for a couple of literature classes in the mid eighties. I recall him as a peaceful presence and a good teacher. Sorry for your loss.

I was mentored at 'The Helix', and took two classes with Jack. Goodbye, Jack. You will be missed.

I was very saddened to read of Dr. Heitner's passing. He was a devoted teacher, a fine poet, an avid hiker, and a mentor to his students through The Helix and The Literary Society. I will never forget his field trip to Walden Pond. May I express my most heartfelt condolences to his family.
