Not sure what to say?

Jeanne, do you remember when you visited my home the day you were on your way to Rick's shore house in Tuckerton? We had such a lovely day, you, Jack, Walter and I. We shared lunch, conversation, laughs and it was so pleasant. I remember when you had gone out to your cars, I looked out the window and the three of you were laughing. I remember particularly looking at Jack and thinking "he looks good for a guy his age!" And that is why I did not visit with Walter in the hospital - I wanted to...

Like Alison and Andy, I have so many fond childhood memories of summer visits to Watertown, NY. Swinging in the hammock singing, "Wait for the Wagon," running down to the creek after Hank, or just exploring as young children do in a strange, yet safe place. We lost touch over the years, but there are so many memories to keep you close. We'll miss you Uncle Jack. Keep an eye out from up above and say hi to my Dad and Uncle Fred. Go in love and rest in peace.

One of my favorite memories of growing up was the summer we spent a few weeks up in Watertown, NY with Uncle Jack and Aunt Jeanne. I remember how quiet it was, spending time at the beautiful house and all the wildflowers growing near the roads. "Uncle Jack" was sometimes gruff but underneath, he had a warm heart and was a loving person. He will be missed.

Sorry I am unable to attend the memorial but please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Much love -...

wow where to start? first he was a great uncle always made me laugh when we went to visit in the summer to their house in upstate ny. we would usually eat on the patio by the pool hamburgers & hot dogs and always corn on the cobb. i'll always remember that pool that water was always so cold. lol

gone for now but never forgotten i'm sure we'll all meet up again later on down the road, love always Andy

Our favorite memory of Jack was when he was planting, pruning and generally beautifying the home of Ruth and Karl Hess on Cape Cod. He was in his element! We picked up some sound gardening hints from him.
He had so much to offer!

We are so glad we had an opportunity to know him.
