Not sure what to say?

It takes awhile for the grapevine to get to Switzerland, so I just heard about Buddy. Yes, Buddy, for he and I go back to sailing X boats against each other on Oconomowoc Lake - he always beat me. Buddy was one of my all time lifetime heroes, a wonderful man, and the world is diminished by our loss. My heart goes out to the Hendee family, may the 0-88 / X-17 keep sailing on forever....

Dear Kathy and all the Hendee family,

Jack and your family were the first ones to welcome the Duncan family to Pine Lake in the late 60's. I have never forgotten his kindness and hospitality to all during our 8 year stay there. Truly a man who led by example. Our thoughts are with you on his passing, may you find strength and smiles in the memories of all he touched.

Dear Kathy and the Hendee Family,

As a graduate, fresh from college and new to the world of business, Jack Hendee was one of the first people I encountered when I began employment at the bank. He impressed me then and would continue to impress me throughout my business career as one of the most capable, sensitive, and caring people with whom I would ever have the pleasure of knowing. I speak not only for myself but for many of my friends who worked with Jack that we are better people...

It was over 36 years ago that I was employed at First Wisconsin. For a while I reported directly to Jack, who by this time was, I think, in charge of all retail banking. It was obvious at that time Jack was being groomed to run the entire show someday. And rightly so. He was bright, articulate, decisive and very smart. He also had compassion. I was going through a series of disappointments that had me discouraged. Jack took me out to lunch, listened to my concerns and gave me...

To the entire Hendee Family;
It will not be the same coming to Pine Lake knowing Jack has passed away. But I am heartened knowing his spirit will always be there as it always has been during my entire life. God bless Jack and God bless you all.

Dearest Kathy and families,
Keeping you in our hearts, thoughts and prayers......we shall always remember Jack with his dear smile, "welcoming way" and twinkling
eyes.

As a former employee of the First Wisconsin under Jack's leadership, I have always had the utmost respect for the man and his leadership, vision and compassion. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed by many.

To the Hendee Family: I was fortunate to have met Jack when I worked at the Greater Milwaukee Committee and he was one of my favorite members. I will cherish my memories of this very fine gentleman.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult
time. It was a pleasure knowing Jack during our business
years in Milwaukee. May your fond memories live on forever!
