Anita, Susan and Sophie;
I am saddened to learn of dad's death. We enjoyed so much time together living across the street from each other on Benefit St. Sophie, you of course, are the one we remember best as you were always in and out of our house. And there were so many Walter Lee stories on how he would meet your dad downtown and walk home with him. So many wonderful memories. Please know that Gary and I thought of you and dad often.

John was a person of intelligence, refinement and had a ready wit. It was a pleasure to have known him. My condolences to his family.
