Not sure what to say?

John was a big man with a huge heart, a gentle soul, brilliant in every way. He had the heart of a champion for the little guy. For John, there were no small people. I miss him and think warmly of this great man, a man who lifted uo many people, and fought the good fight.

John was a kind, warm, funny, and brilliant man--a civil rights warrior and a legend. I overlapped with John for many years when I was an EEOC trial attorney in Minneapolis. I remember his warm, gentle quizzical "you gotta be kidding" look when I explained my latest anything, and the belly laugh (yes, there was a belly!) you could hear a mile away. John was larger than life in everything he did. I will miss that sweet man.

So sorry to hear of John´s passing. I was honored to work with him when I was at the EEOC. I am definitely the better for our relationship. I was impressed by his commitment, professionalism, and integrity. Civil Rights were advanced due to his leadership. My deepest condolences to Margaret and the rest of John´s family and many friends and colleagues.

I have so many fond memories of your dad. He was always so generous and kind. He took us for great Thai food and shared his fantastic laugh often. Much love to Becky snd her family.

My deepest sympathy to Margaret and the rest of the family. I have many fond memories of John at EEOC. I know he will be missed by many!

John will be missed dearly. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Peg, I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I really, really liked him, and was so grateful to him for all he did to help me teach my employment discrimination course. I was his biggest fan, and he seemed to return the favor. I treasured his company and his knowledge and wisdom. And he was great fun. My deepest condolences.

My sincerest condolences. John hired me at the EEOC and I highly respected him. I was so sad when he retired. As you can guess, the EEOC was not the same with him gone. Now the world will not be the same with him gone. My warmest regards.
