Not sure what to say?

JACK AND I WERE PARTNEERS IN MANY, MANY GOLF MATCHES OVER THE YEARS I KNEW HIM. WE WON MORE THAN OUR SHARE. HE WAS A REAL COMPETITOR.

I am in shock, having just learned minutes ago of John's death. Knowing him was a pleasure. John, like Homer Balabanis, served the Humboldt State family in many important ways. I have many Toby and Jack and bowling alley memories of John that will always make me laugh.

Jack was a dear friend for many years and touched my heart in many ways. My heart-felt sympathy to Gisela and family.

Dear Gisela and Family,
We are very sorry to hear of John's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love Your friends and Neighbors,

My deepest condolences. Jack was one of my favorite professors and was a great inspiration to me. His great knowledge and razor sharp wit made it a pleasure to be in his company. It was a privilege to have known him both as an educator and a friend. My prayers go with you.
