Not sure what to say?

I still miss John. When I read poetry or hear a clever pun, I think of him. He made an indelible impression on my heart.

Our sincere condolences for your precious loss. May God's loving comfort be with the family. Matthew 5:4.

I never met you John but I knew you as "Lex" at the Cabin. You were a very well read man.

I enjoyed the Word Games at the Cabin. Maybe we will meet some time as we fly past the stars........... Patrick

Karla & Angela I am was so sorry to receive word of John's passing. My thoughts are with you!

Our heart felt condolences from all of us at Arundel Books

Always so nice to converse with Professor Lex of The Cabin in the Woods forum. The world has gone one degree colder with his passing.
Thank you for those forum conversations. My thoughts are with your family, John.

Dear Angela and Karla, although I never met John in person, I have had the privilege of knowing him for several years through various internet boards.. Dusty Shelf, Arcadian Bookroom and most recently The Cabin. He was funny, articulate and for me educational. I learned a great deal from his posts and links to information. He was in my humble opinion brilliant. He will be missed by a great many people but fondly remembered.

Angela and Karla,
We have known for so long that John wouldn't be with us much longer, but the news still comes as a shock. We are consoled by the knowledge that the amazing job you both did caring for him ensured that his final days could be spent like he spent his life: joking, laughing, and reading.
Best wishes,
Peter, Munezeh, & Ily
