HENRY, JOHN DAVID – age 51, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at his home.
He was of the Baptist faith and preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Walter Henry; and brothers, Doug, Ron, and Michael Henry.
Survivors: daughters, Shauna, Shalana, Nicky, Ellen, Candy and husband Charles Latham; sons, John D. Henry, Jr., and Eric Henry; mother, E. Jean Henry Boyd; step-father, Velky Boyd; grandchildren, Austen Latham, John Henry III, and David J. Henry; sister and brother-in-law, Gale and Maynard Capps; step-sister, Lynda Boyd; brothers, Ted Henry (Cindy), Lance and Fred Henry; and companion, Tekie.
The family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service and interment at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dale Berry officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at North Broadway.
John was always fun to be around and was a good worker at Baker building. Gale you and your family are in my prayers.
