Johnny, I met you when I was very young. Though I already had a deep love of music, you were part of the reason that I became a musician. So many memories, and loved sitting in with you and Bill Schroeder. I have and will always carry you in my heart. My sincere sympathy to your family.

My oldest brother who I love and always will miss had good times singing when he had places to be at, and he had to performed. One of my other sisters Rita and me would join John on stage.
