I know its 3 years late. I just learned of the doctors passing. Je was my daughters doctor at Childrens Hospital in Boston. He was such a nice man. Always seemed to care so much. May god rest his soul. Thanks and prayers to his family.

Dr. John Herrin was the most wonderful physician to both of my daughters. They each saw him for about 20 years for kidney problems and he saved their lives. Dr. Herrin is brilliant and compassionate but super funny as well, he always kept us laughing with his jokes. We are so very sad at his passing - he will always be tremendously missed.

May God bless your soul as you blessed all of us at MGH Children's Service Pediatric Endocrine Unit with your teachings and friendship. Please say hello to JDC as you were his favorite fellow and transfer to you both the nephrology unit and the Shriner's Burns

I am sorry to hear about John's passing. Although I never met him, all my conversations with him, on the phone and via email, were so pleasant and I really enjoyed talking with him. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family.

The Cheffers family would like to offer their sincere condolences to the Herrin family on the great loss of Doctor John Herrin. John was a great friend of the whole Cheffers family and we enjoyed his company many times in Boston. We will miss him a lot.

You were such a great Doctor with our son Cam - You would call him Chap and he would say no it’s Cameron and spell his name out only to make us all laugh - he surely did love you...
