Not sure what to say?

Dear Jock, Jo, Frank and Molly,
I was so very sorry to hear the news about your dad. It's hard for me to believe he's gone - I can hear his voice and his laugh and see the twinkle in his eye, all these years later. He and your mother were always wonderful to me and I miss them both. My favorite story about your father was when he was chastised by the young clerk at the liquor store; my favorite memory is the way he and your mother (and in later years, just he) used to send me...

Dear Mrs. T,
We are sorry for your loss. It sounds as though your Dad lived a wonderfully blessed and rich life. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts.

Molly and Family So sorry to hear about your dad. I have so many wonderful childhood memories shared with you and your family. When I think of your parents I smile.
All my love to you Seth and the boys. Love Leah Corbin (Molloy)

My very sincere sympathies to the extended Herron family for the loss of their father, John. It has been a very long time since I have seen any of the family, but the memories of my Uncle John and Aunt Frannie are still very vivid in my mind. I remember the laughter and the fun times. I can only hope that when I am gone someone has as fond memories of me as I do of John and Frannie Herron. My condolences to Jock, Frank, Jo, and Mary.

Although John no longer resided on Crown Hill, we all thought of him as a life-long resident here and we mourn his loss. What an addition John and Frannie were to the neighborhood! Together and as separate individuals, we were so much better for having them in our lives. Our Christmas caroling was always enriched by their "punch," and our determination to protect our historic neighborhood was always fed by John. He will be an abiding member of our neighborhood family, even as his physical...

Frank, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Although I never met your dad, the obituary captured his spirit and made me feel as if I knew him. Thinking of you and the boys,
Sue

I have memories of a wonderful Christmas afternoon dinner at the Dressers' which John livened up remarkably. What a wonderful man! How lucky his family was to have had him here in the world.

Frank, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Please know you and your family are in my prayers.

To Sam, Jo and Huck,

My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. I have enjoyed visiting with Granddaddy these past 10 years, especially around the Holidays when he would always encourage me to add as many Dreidels to the Christmas Tree as I saw fit. I am thankful for the memories.
