Demetrios and Paula.........I was soo sorry to hear of John's passing...I kept wanting to express my condolences to u both for a while....then without warning my father died suddenly and even though u were going through ur own pain of losing ur father u still were sooo sympathic to me and so caring...I cant imagine how hard it must be to keep the funeral home going that ur father was such a part of....it was hard enough for me to clean out my fathers apartment and now I dont have to return...

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Kathy and Family. We were on vacation in Alaska when we heard that John died. It was a shock to us. John was a truly a great person. We have not seen each other in years but the warm memories of him will always be remembered. Marilyn and Bill Quinn

Dear Demetrios and Paula,
I was saddened to hear of your father's passing. He was always there for my family in our time of need, as both of you were. He will be missed. May you find peace in each other and God's love.

Dear Demetrios and Herron family,
We just wanted to let you know that you truly have carried on the legacy of your father through Herron Funeral Home. You are respectful, dignified, and your faith is evident in all you do. Your father has led the way and you have lovingly followed. May he also do that today in the hope of the Resurrection.
Fr. Demetrios and Presbytera Tammy Makoul

To the Herron Family:

What can I tell you about Mister John that you do not alredy know. I was indeed both shocked and saddened by the news of his entering the Church Triumphant. The prayers of my entire family go with you at this time of loss. Yes I always have, and always will, refer to him as "Mister"John. He was a man who commanded respect, and I just could not bring myself to address him simply as John, not Mister Herron, as he would often request. So I compromised, always...

Katherine and Family,

We would like to express our condolences. We considered John and the entire family as friends. When making arrangements for my mother, John was such a caring and compassionate person. May God be with the entire family in this time of sorrow.
