John R. "Jack" Hershey Jr.

Many years ago on Christmas Day, I received a call from my good buddy and neighbor, Jack Hershey. He met with me with tears in his eyes, making me swear to take care of Johnny should something happen to him. He said he wanted him to be raised like my son,Rick and so I promised. Sadly, I hope that now I am relieved of this vow as Johnny is a fine young man and needs no one.

It was quite a shock to me to receive an e-mail from my niece informing me of the death of Jack. Please accept my sincere sympathy to you. I knew him all his life.
