My family & I were neighbors of the Hesketh family on Clarence Road until we moved in 1966. Tim was my brother Rick's best friend and my brother Ron & I played with Ann, Susie & Beth. Good memories of our times there. My parents, Lois & Dick Spotts were good friends with John & Becky. Last time I saw John was in February 2012 when my dad passed away and Ann brought him up to the funeral home. Amazing how much Tim looks like his dad. Hoping to be able to stop at the funeral home on my...

To the family of John Hesketh,
John worked for the Forest City Tree Protection in the late 60's and/or early 70's. At that time, my father, Bill Lanphear and uncle, John Lanphear were running the company. Although I was quite young then, I do remember John and I know he worked with my oldest brother, Billy and possibly my other brother, Warren, too. We all send our condolences on the passing of John. What an amazing long and full life John had. May your warm memories of him bring you all...

I had the privilege to bring Holy Communion to John for several years when he lived at Emeritus in Willoughby. He never failed to bring a smile to my face with his unwavering faith, good cheer and optimistic outlook.

It was an honor and blessing to know him these last few years. I will miss his smile and kind words and trust he is in the capable and loving hands of his Father.
