Not sure what to say?

We all remember that smile...

Hey Dad,
Just thinking about you today. I hope that your happy and healthy where ever you are. When you came and saw me that night, it really put my mind at ease. Your smile(and full head of hair) spoke a thousand word : ) i still miss the hell out of you! I will keep on keepin' on, till we meet again.Love you dad!

Well Dad, I think the memorial went really well. I think it was exactly what you would have wanted. The whole family got together, shared great stories and memories about you, then we made a toast in your honor, and sat down for some drinks together. I cried a little, you always said "theres no crying in baseball" but we werent playing baseball, so i think it was ok : ) I love you so much dad, and I miss you. Thank you to all who came to honor my dad in the respect he deserved. He loved...

To my brother and friend may you R.I.P. I will miss the good times and laughs and arguments that we had. And all the times we went to breakfast at the VFW. Great times were had by all. Miss you bro'. It was a wonderful memorial as you very well know. Love you

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

I knew John in the early 90's through Fitzsimmons in Grandview; he was a favorite of everyone, He always talked about his girls and how great they were; my prayers are with you all durig this difficult time.

Hess was our friend and lifelong buddy! His heart was big and those brown eyes were so forgiving! He loved his family and was so proud! He will be missed by the Harvey family!

I'm so sorry for the sadness that John's passing has brought to the family and friends he has left behind, especially his girls. He could make you feel so safe and loved. He will be missed.

I grew up with John as my second dad. I will miss him dearly. You were a great man. RIP John
