Miss you

The anniversary of your death is coming up soon on Nov 6th. Want you to know
that I still love you and miss you terribly.

Yesterday was the two month
anniversary of your death. I still can
not believe you are gone. I spent
NY Eve with our dear friends the
Higgins and the Quinns and I was very
happy to do so but we all are grieving.

Thinking of you on yesterday's one month
anniversary of your death. All of us miss you
terribly.

It has been a long journey from the timeiwas 15 and you were 17 at the BostonSkating Club when we first met. Friends and dates off and on through high schooland college (many parties, proms andjust hanging out) we married other peopleand had children. About 27 years late later divorced, we reunited ,both
pretty happy. I remember you saying
'I'm kicking over paint cans.' Then
still adjusting to our new freedom,
we dated others ( you had many girlfriends

Still the best!

At Fresh Pond Golf Course, where we both played, you never know who you will get matched up with. It was always a relief to see John waiting when I walked down to the tee. He was a kind and gentle man, and a great golfing partner. I last played with him just a few weeks ago. It was my first round since a major injury, and he could not have been more patient and generous. I will miss him.

john hickey had be by a few years but he had an impact on me and many others..old time ref. kept me in line more than once, but later in life became great conversationalist and advisor to many; a very intelligent man.. voracious reader and very loving father..i will miss him dearly.. became very close last few years as a bar-tender @ cambridge VFW....tenacious golfer, and crossword puzzle man....grew to love this man...great athlete and genuine breadwinner...earned his pay...may he rest in...
