SOO SORRY FOR OUR LATE NOTIFICATION. CONDOLENCES TO CHARLOTTE AND FAMILIES. JOHN PULSKAMP M.D.

Charlotte, You and Larry were always so kind to me when I came to Maryland to look at a job when first out of fellowship and for many years thereafter. The world has lost a kind and generous soul and pediatric surgery has lost a great mentor and friend.

Larry and I were together at the University of Chicago. He was the living embodiment of a talented Pediatric Surgeon whose humility and empathy for others is legendary. A role model to his residents and students, he was loved by his patients and their families and highly respected by his colleagues, friends and peers. He will be missed. He was a wonderful friend and co-worker. May he Rest In Peace. Hernan

I am so sorry for your (and the world's) loss. Larry's compassionate advice was an enormous gift to me at a critical period in my life. I am not sure if he ever knew how much he helped me. I trust that he is at peace now, able to look at a world made better by his particiipation.

Larry was a co-resident with me for pediatric surgery training and we have been friends ever since. I am sad to hear of his death and offer my sympathy to Charlotte and family.

Our condolences to Charlotte and family on Larry's passing. We cherish our memories of learning from him, and the honor of working next to him.

Thank you Dr Hill for teaching me the art and more importantly the humanity of pediatric surgery. May God bless your sweet family!

My husband and I held Dr. Hill as a treasured friend and brilliant doctor. I have known and respected him for over 60 years. The world has lost his knowledge and experience, but we have lost the pleasure and honor of his friendship. Our hearts go out to his family.
