Not sure what to say?

I got to know John, his wife Melissa and daughter Tasha when he volunteered to let the county plant trees along his riverfront. He was an enthusiastic supporter of improving habitat along the river. I will always remember his kindness in letting an old childhood friend stay with him, him pulling my county truck off the stump I had run over with his huge International Harvester with Tasha sitting in his lap, and his love of classic cars. I always looked forward to an opportunity to drop by and...

I met John when I was 16yrs old the last time I saw him all he could do was talk about Tasha and his wife. John was a great man very loyal honest hard working funny the kind of guy you would want to have as a friend. I will miss seeing him. And I pray for the Hillis family that in time they can heal from all of this and remember the happy times and the great man that John was.
God Bless

I met John at the Boeing company almost twenty years ago. He had an incredible sense of humor and was the kind of guy you'd like to have around.

We are sorry to hear of John's passing and are praying for comfort and peace for your family in this time of sorrow. John was a good man and never hesitated to assist a friend. We will remember his laugh and his heart to serve others. We worked with John at Boeing and occasionally came up to the property and visited him. I will miss seeing him at the Smokey Point Espresso drive through on my way to work in the mornings. God Bless.
