Dear John,
I am proud of having known you and having worked with you. We worked in the lab together on multiple project. I found 8 articles that we published together. John of the "seasoned" tea beaker. You meant more to the technicians in 1-120 than you will ever know. How can I ever celebrate Halloween without remembering you? Here's to one Midland's trumpet solo in your honour.

I sang in the choir at Our Lady of Grace with John for many years. He always kept the men on track and had a wonderful ability to harmonize. He kept the entire choir laughing with his droll comments. It was never quite the same after he left. I am sad to hear of his passing.

I feel proud of finding an opportunity to have met you and your good humour. You were so patient and very kind to the foreign research fellows worked with you.
I remember my days at Hopkins tried to spare time whilst almost running to your office wanted to share some with you. Thanks for keeping a photo of Istanbul hanged in your lab and behaving in a friendly way to me although I was at the age of your children.
I will always remember you.

I worked with you briefly at JHMI research lab more than 10 years ago and always remembered your kindness as if we met yesterday.
