John Henry Hipp

John was a great barber. He will be missed by the many customers her had throughout the years. RIP

Working on this farm goes all the way back generations in my family. My grandmother, Margie Howard, helped the Hipps on the farm sometime between 1952 and 1965. My daddy, Bruce Howard, used to get his hair cut at the Hipp barbershop when he was just a kid. That tradition was passed down to me when I was young - and from then on, getting a haircut from the Hipps became something special, something that tied our families together. It brings a lot of sadness to hear of John leaving us. My sincere condolences to the family. John and his family were like the "big brothers" that I never had. We made our first, and many more trips to Colorado elk hunting. I´ll always be thankful for the Hipp family teaching me so much about farming and getting me started in the cattle business. I lost touch with a lot of people when I moved to Colorado in 2005, but I´ll always be thankful for being able to grow up with the Hipp family....

Buff, Our family was deeply saddened to hear of your father´s passing. May God comfort your heart. Your Virginia Family is holding you up in our prayers.
