Not sure what to say?

Prayers to all of Dr. Hoffmann's family, friends, and patients. He was one of a kind in the medical field and will be missed by so many. I am grateful to have met you, and thank you for the care you gave to my son and husband years ago.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of "Doc" Hoffmann. He was an excellent doctor and he treated both Doug and I for Lyme's disease. But beyond that he was a friend and we have fond memories of boating together and of our kids in sports together. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Shane, Ericka and Ann, and their families and to all of Greg's family. He will be missed and we want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Doug and Sandy

I just cried and cried when I heard that doctor Hoffmann had passed on. He saved my life, and gave me hope when I thought there was no hope left. He is missed and loved by so many.

Very heartbroken to hear of Dr.Hoffmann's tragic accident and death as this man was the best doctor I had ever seen, and he had done more for me than all of the rest combined. He sure got my health on the right track. I went to see him for the first time on February 16th, 2016. He gave me hope, and told me it would take awhile, but assured me, I would get better by doing and taking exactly what he said to, and I sure have. This wonderful man lived to serve, and save people's lives. A...

Hearing the news of Doc's sudden death brought tears to my eyes. ~Such a good man with knowledge, compassion, understanding and continual support with skills and open-minded awareness that you would wish for all in the medical profession to have those qualities, to help alleviate symptoms, and actually cure or help people with a chronic condition enough to actively go on to live their life better....some after being pretty much bed ridden and near the end of their rope with debilitating &...

(Jan 1999) Doc Hoffmann & our lab he gave us, "Doc" Just a tragic loss of a great Dr but more so a friend

I am very sorry for your loss, and I would like to offer my little Doc story here:

I bought the album, Neil Young, Live at Massey Hall (1971), right before my first appointment with Dr. Hoffmann. My girlfriend at the time, another friend, and I listened to it on repeat the whole way up from Madison to Waupaca and the whole way back down to Madison through I cold, snowy day and night.

I could never separate it from Dr. Hoffmann after that first trip to go see him. Finding my way...

I am a pharmacist and Dr Hoffmann called a prescription in to the pharmacy I work for on May 4. I had never met him or spoken to him before. We actually had a rare and somewhat lengthy, lovely chat on the phone (after he gave me the Rx info) and when I hung up, I marveled at what a kind, compassionate person this man seemed to be simply based on this one phone call. I was stunned to hear of his passing and I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Dr Hoffmann's family. I know he will be...

I am another one of the many patients Doc H. treated for Lyme. I am so grateful to have had the privilege of knowing him as a doctor. As others have said, he was a rare gem.

I am grateful not only for his expertise, but for the kindness and words of encouragement (which were always creatively crafted) he ended our appointments with. I felt like I had a cheerleader on my side with this illness! What a relief and balm to the spirit to have all my physical issues taken...
