Not sure what to say?

Jack and I were school mates. He was top notch!! I will miss visiting with Jack when I get back east. God Bless!!

Andy

Uncle Jack was a wonderfully humorous, loving, generous man. He always made our Christmas get togethers memorable with his stories and sense of humor. He and Aunt Ginny were very happy and very much in love. He set a wonderful example for us. He leaves behind an incredible legacy and will be missed by all.

I have so many memories of Jack. I was just a little girl when I used to visit the store to see my dad. He always made me smile. He was an amazing guy and a great friend to my dad. He will leave a legacy in New Hartford and in my heart. Much love to your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dave,
I was saddened to learn that your brother passed away recently. I'll always remember your sincere concern for him.

I only knew Jack for a short time compared to those who've known him for years. I met him here at McLean. I have MS and he had ALS. We seemed to hit it off right away. I was nosy and asked him all sorts of questions about ALS and about when he was diagnosed etc. we made each other laugh and that's good when you have a disease. I remember telling him that he could tell people via his talking machine that he used to be part of the famous German tenors (you know, like the Irish tenors) and...

Ginny:

We have never met but have known Jack for years through the Hardware Store. We were both very saddened to hear of his passing and want you to know we are thinking of you and your family at this time of grief. His struggle with this horrible disease has been an inspiration to all who knew him. He never lost his sense of humor and always had a joke. We have all learned that such an affliction can be an inspiration to all of us. Our sympathies.

Richard and M.Ann...

Growing up in New Hartford, I knew Jack for most of my life. Even as a young man he was a generous and caring person. His sense of humor and love of life always brightened everyone's day. His passing leaves a void in the many lives he touched.

Rest in peace Jack.

I first met Jack when he was an auxillary State Trooper at Canaan Baracks. From that time on he was a good friend. I made many stops at the store to see what his latest prank was and to see if he was doing any "river tours". Jack would help anyone he could and he will always be remembered for what he did for the people of New Hartford. We miss you, Jack.

A buddy to all. Thanks for the memories.
