Not sure what to say?

John Hogan......he is the best friend you could ask for. I met John awhile ago while transporting him to and from pdx, friends homes,Corvallis and his son McKenzie house. He loved his family the beavers and most of all he cared for others. I loved him like a brother. He was the best example of how to treat others. I will miss my friend greatly. Thank you John hogan for allowing me to shine. Travis J. Wilson. Driver and friend.

I met John Hogan at a national conference- and looked forward to seeing him twice a year at conferences. His personality, integrity, love for life, and for long term care administration was inspiring. He was my friend, mentor, and cheerleader. His spirit will live on in all who came to know him as a friend but now the "lion sleeps tonight". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yynOSgti1jk

John Hogan my friend I miss you!! What a privilege it was to have shared time with you in this world!! Your smile and your laugh always made my day!! And especially when I was all decked out in my DUCKS gear! I miss our daily talks about life music our families I would give anything to have you back at ROA. Oh to see you smile and laugh!! What a man!!

John was one of my favorite people ever. He always brought a smile to my face and never had a mean thing to say about anyone. I will truly miss you Hoagie. You were a HUGE part of my life and it feels like a piece of me is gone. I knew something was wrong when you didn´t respond to my texts or voicemail. Love you Hoagie. You were a rock for me and I will never forget your kindness and friendship.

John was kind, caring, unforgettable and genuine! He always included you no matter who you we're. I spent many days with john in Corvallis. He always had great stories! He loved his son and grandkids more than anything in this world. John would always arrange for me to have parking at the airport when I traveled. I know he did this for so many people..He actually would have given his shirt off his back if someone needed it. The world has lost a true friend! We will miss you always Hogan....

I feel very fortunate to have known John as both a colleague and friend for nearly 45 years! He truly made a positive difference through his work in long-term care. And, John also gave of himself by serving on the Board of my small non-profit for over 30 years. I will always remember, too, how much John enjoyed his granddaughters and making the holiday photo card with them the last couple of years. And, I loved the photo cards! While John will definitely be missed, I celebrate John and a...

So saddened to hear about John's death. He was a dear friend. Hope all the awesome memories of good times shared carry his friends and family through this difficult time.

John was one of the kindest and caring, and fun persons I know. We met through work, but he became a friend for life. We will so miss him. "The mighty lion sleeps tonight."

I will always remember John for his humor, affection and warm hugs. With love and sympathy, Gail Findley
