John F. Hogan

In my early years, I watched John Hogan on WGN-TV News, learning something new each day about life across the Chicago metropolis, from his insightful reporting. I later worked with John at Commonwealth Edison, and marveled at his grasp of issues faced by the electric utility that served millions of residents across northern Illinois. I remember Mr. Hogan and many of his friends and colleagues from the early days at Bradley Place which I would visit initially as a student from the nearby high school. I didn't realize, until now, that we weren't much different in age. A gentleman and clear and effective communicator, I recall is voice doing 'stand-up' with location t.v. news reporting. May the family find comfort at this time.
