Not sure what to say?

Bill and I send our condolences and love to the family Bertie and John are godparents to our son John. We enjoyed our days as married couples at Yale and, sadly, lost touch a few years ago. We read the In Memoriam column in the Yale Alumni magazine and were saddened to read John's name. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

I am so sorry for your loss Hogg family. I would come over to help John but somehow I always felt like I was the one being helped. I guess I liked him so much because he made me feel so good about myself and he never took himself too seriously. I'm so glad I got to see him before he passed and tell him how kind he'd been to me. I miss him and can only imagine the grief you are going through. God be with you.

Our heartfelt prayers to the Hogg family. I first met John at the Big Spring plant during one of his visits. Worked there from 1980-84 Then transfered to the Ft Worth area.

Now living in Baton Rouge, working at the Addis plant.

God Bless the family, and may John rest in peace...

I met the Hogg family professionally during a difficult time in their lives and John was very patient with the job I had to do. Both he and Mrs. Hogg were extremely gracious to me personally thereafter. A model of respect I will always carry.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry to not be at the memorial today; I hope to see you soon Liz. I was so sad when I heard this news and I just remember your dad with a smile always on his face. He was a wonderful person who I know will be missed terribly.

I was John's first secretary at Sid Richardson in Big Spring. He set a standard by which I measured every boss I worked for afterward, and no one else ever quite measured up. He was a good man, and he will be missed. My prayers are with you all.

Mrs. Hogg, Brooks, James, Elizabeth and family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Anytime we lose people we love it is beyond what words can say. We feel your pain and loss. We are praying for all of your family. We know that Mr. Hogg, Robbie & John are all together now and oneday you too will be reunited with them. May it bring you peace knowing that they are safe in God's care.

Dearest Liz, Brooks, and James,
I just found out tonight about your sweet Daddy. I loved him so much. I will miss his smile, his laugh, the twinkle in his eye, and his good big bear hugs. I will be there tomorrow. Much love and sympathy,
Margaret

His passing leaves a void which can not be filled. He always made me laugh.
