Not sure what to say?

Big John will be remembered - his impact on everyone that met him reveals a passionate, intense, caring, and often warm man - his interest in "helping" others was inspiring - I am better for having known him - my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and loved ones.

I worked many boxing events with John as my ring captain. He taught me so much about being a referee, and I will always remember looking over at him, and having him salute me with the middle finger raised high! That was John, and I will miss him. May he rest in peace.

To The Family of John Holaus,
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers-Mr. Holaus was always a bright light when he would visit our office! He always had a wonderfeul story about his family, travels or boxing. Take care, The Staff at SLUCare/University Club Tower

To the John Holaus Family:
Mr. Holaus was a patient of mine over the last couple of years. I always enjoyed the visits as we talked about his past/future travels and experiences. He stayed fit and mentally active until the end.

John was a class act who was always concerned for the safety of our boxers and in the development and growth of our officials.

John, i got to know you in Worcesster, Ma. at the opympic boxoff and we met at many events andi will forever remember you for the man you were.Rest in peace.
