Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss. Jack sounds like he was just as wonderful and warm as his parents, Harper and Betty, in reading his moving obituary. I am grateful for his service to our country. God bless.

Jean, Judy and Joe. I am so sorry to hear if Jacks passing. He was one of a kind and I enjoyed every moment I had with him either at Searles or around town. I loved his smile and humor. Unfortunately I will be out of town on the 11th but my thoughts will be with you

Jean: I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort be with you in your time of need.

To the Holbrook Family:

The Leighton's are going to miss Jack. He was a calming and stable voice of reason to us. I remember the day our dad came home (40+ years ago) and said, I met the nicest guy, if I had a son this is who I would be proud of. Jack was the keeper of the boathouse, our go to guy with all of our questions. I know Dad and Jack are hanging out at the boathouse with a bottle of whiskey and a platter of lobsters in front of them, and Dad saying, Thanks for looking after my girls Jack.

RIP Jack

We are sad to learn that Jack has passed away. We always enjoyed our quick chats with him as he walked the neighborhood in York. He was especially kind to our dog Bella, as he was to all the dogs in the hood. They no doubt miss seeing him already. May God Bless you Jack, your wife Jean, and thank you for your service to our country.

We had good times on the boat trips we took traveling the Maine coast and down to Massachusetts. The "old" telephone guys will miss Jack at their weekly lunches.

I really don't know where to begin. We met over 20 years ago through mutual friends getting ready for a trip to La Loutre on Anticosti Island. Since then we became the best of friends riding up to the island every year since, and for many years multiple times per year. We had so many incredible memories up there, as well as at New Years Eve parties, Holiday BBQ's, fishing up at Bradford Camps, and solving the world's problems when we talked. You have been there for me so many times Jack...

We are very sorry to learn of the loss of John. Our thoughts and prayers are with Your family and friends during this difficult time. "May your loyal love please comfort me." Psalm 119:76
