Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Nick's passing this AM. I'm so sorry to hear this. Nick was a terrific man to me and my wife. We both frequented his shop (S&H 4 Wheel Drive) just to say hello or to have him fix our 4x4. Nick was the ONLY man we ever trusted to work on it. By FAR the BEST 4x4 repair facility in Sacramento. When we moved to Arizona in 2004, we stopped by to tell Nick we were leaving, he said to be sure to keep in touch. We almost moved back to Sac just because the shops out here are NOWHERE...

Dearest Nancy,
I Just now found out about Nick. Can't seem to find any words. Called the shop & gave them my number. My thoughts & prayers to all the family. Please call when you can find a moment.
Shocked & very saddened,
Jill Zawlocki

The world is a little more empty with nicks passing. He was always a very generous individual with his help and advice. The old school knowledge he had and what he did for so many people throughout his life offering and giving honest helpful advice and friendship will be sorely missed. Another void in the community was created when he left us.

A good man and a great mechanic

Nancy and family
I am very sorry for your loss. Nick was one of the best people I have ever known. He will be missed.

Nancy, my condolences go out to you and your family. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I cant even imagine what the 4x4 community will be like with out nick! He was a Good Husband, Good father (to many) great mentor and good friend. If you had the opportunity to meet nick your life has been blessed! He was one of a kind and very kind. He spoke softly and looked at you through those blue eyes and had nothing but kindness come your way. If you knew nick he is looking at you with the index finger pointed out the rest of his fingers curled under like he just let go of the steering...

Nick was a wonderful friend to the Pierce family. For about 40 years Nick was always there to help with our 4x4 needs. He will be missed!!!

One of the most honest people on Earth, I will miss him.
