I will always remember John from when he lived next to my parents on River Road. He and my dad were fellow Mount Union boys.
John was kind, protective, generous with his time and compassion.
One time, I was coming home from somewhere, having driven by myself. Some joker had followed me home, but fortunately didn't get out of his car to confront me. I found out the following day that John had been sitting on his porch the whole time, watching, ready to protect me. "I had your back...
