Dave and I just learned of JP's passing this evening. We send our heartfelt sympathy. We were in England visiting our son and his family for the entire month of August and had cancelled our paper while we were gone. Dear Jim and Linda,
I am very sad to have found out about Juan Paulo. We knew each other for only a couple of months. I will always remember him and his love of music and U2. We would talk on the telephone for hours about God and life.I remember playing with Chewy and hanging out with him. Thank you for letting me get to know someone that was a good friend and a loving person.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of JP. He was my friend for almost three years. I will miss him greatly, his talks we used to have, his laughter, him writing "smiles" on our texts. His love for people and God was felt the instant you met him.

I have know JP for two years, and we became friends instantly. We had spoken frequently prior to his passing, and I was devasted to know I will never hear his voice and laugh with him again. I have been blessed to of had JP in my life and like everyone who knew him, this has created a huge void in my life. To JP's parents and family, thank you for such a loving person and my prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I just saw J.P. a few weeks ago myself in a nearby Target. I worked with him off and on for many years at the Compassion Corner and his patience and kindness with our homeless friends was always in view. I pray God's blessing on you at this time and that His peace would be felt each moment.

So sorry for your loss I met JP 10 yrs ago when I moved here from Mass. and was homeless we became good freinds and he had bought me some dishes when I got my first apartment I still have them we also spent all of the hurricanes together he will always be in my thoughts .I have fond memmories of J P thank you and I qill miss you Bro Kevin Soares
