John William Holmes

John William Holmes Jr. was taken from us much too soon at the age of 52 on May 16th, 2022 in Norco, CA.

John was born on March 14th, 1970 in Geneva, Illinois. After spending the majority of his childhood in Elgin, IL, his family moved to Walnut, CA in 1986. John graduated from Diamond Bar High School in 1988. Shortly after, he met his now former wife, Patricia Gorecki and was married on May 21st, 1994. Together, they had two beautiful sons, JC Holmes and Blake Holmes. John and his family spent time in both California and Colorado. John returned to California in 2013 where he remained until the time of his passing.

John's passion for hockey, movies, and music were only outweighed by the love he had for his sons. He was a friend to many with a wonderful sense of humor. He will always be fondly remembered as a proud Father, beloved Son, adored Brother, and self appointed, "First born and most loved!"

He was preceded in death by his Father, John William Holmes Sr. He is survived by his two sons, JC Holmes, Blake Holmes, and their Mother, Patricia Holmes. As well as his Mother, Jean Holmes and siblings, Rachel Willig, Heidi Eisner, and Jordon Holmes.

Family, friends, and others who wish to celebrate John's life are invited to attend a loving ceremony at Queen of Heaven Mortuary located at 2161 South Fullerton Road, Rowland Heights, Ca. 91748 on Wednesday, June 22nd @ 11AM
