Not sure what to say?

It's been 3 weeks now and I sure do miss the old bald guy as I'm still adjusting to the realization that I won't see him again here on Earth. He sure did leave bunches of memories to sort through like all so many colors in a rainbow, and it's a beautifully blessed gift from God! Y'all take care of each other. Peace, Pat- (Roll Tide!)

I hope Dad tells his Aunt Chic that I'm remembering her birthday today way over 100 years ago. Here's hoping and wishing that Bobby, Cherie, Randy, Zach, and all here on Earth are doing well and have gotten some rest. Timmy Kimmons, thanks for those beautiful flowers you apparently sent that Cherie brought me to re- pot after the funeral. She didn't know who Kimmons was, but I do!

Although I regretably did not have a safe and reliable way to attend The Visitation and funeral service for my dad on Sat afternoon I did manage to get to the Funeral Home on Fri to see him briefly while an old friend waited nervously outside in the parking lot for me. I promise that nothing or nobody really bit me or anything while I was in there, and he looked rather nice wearing his old BoyScoutmaster's Silver Beaver medal he'd gotten back in the 60s when he was with Troop 344 @ St Mark's...

My condolences to the entire Holsten family on there loss. I met Mr. Holstein quite a few times and he was always a very nice gentlemen, he will be missed.

I am glad to have seen Sally's, "Jethro" David Kelly's (You WERE like family for years!), and Malcolm Williams' entries here. I'd thought of trying to somehow find the Williams' phone # before the obit ran since I do remember the family and aprox where they at least used to live in Raleigh. Betcha Mr. Williams knows exactly what Sally was referring to 'bout that "crackly stuff" ( that Mom didn't want getting tracked via shoe sole's stains into the house!) cuz he did work with my dad and...

Mr. Holsten ... You will be missed .You always made me feel like family. You were always spreading humor. Sure you are making God laugh about now.Randy is already missing your stare down .

Sorry for the loss of Zachary's pop he loved him dearly and has been very sad all week. Zachary had a lot of funny stories about his pop that gave everyone a laugh. I love you up to the heavens Zachary and God Bless

John and I both worked for Monsanto Textile Fibers Research in the Research Triangle of NC. We were in the same car pool along with Bud Johnson and Phil Slade. Bud was a little nave and we enjoyed pulling practical jokes on him. One I remembered that John was a key instigator. Phil had to catch an early flight at RDU and asked the car pool to drop him off there. We agreed but we told Bud that Phil went to the airport to pick up an interviewee and take him to the lab. Well, John started...

"All we are saying is give peace a chance"... Much love to all who feel their own loss of Dad. He was a very blessed man!
