While I worked with John at O.C. Tanner, I remember him best growing up together on Laird Ave. I remember when we dug an extensive tunnel network in his back yard, (how did his parents ever allow such a massive excavation?) We played basketball in his driveway, stopping to enjoy an apple or an orange his Mom provided. We used to go hiking, play a game of chess, visit his family cabin in Millcreek or ours in Midway.
