Not sure what to say?

I knew John since 1965 when we were classmates in the SVD minor seminary in Perrysburg, Ohio. John and I became very good friends over the years as SVD, and our Ohio families got to know each other. My sister, Phyllis, reminded me today on our weekly family ZOOM that John had officiated at her wedding to fill in for me when I was in Papua New Guinea (PNG), and she remembered being in the home of John's mom and family. I have known John for many years. We worked together in the SVD,, and continued our friendship after each of us married our wives. John was always one who brought out the best in all he met. Our hearts and prayers go out to Verna. May God grant him rest and peace. Until we meet again. . Love and prayers, Pat and Sue Wenrick

Prayers for John and his family. Had the honor of being a friend and fellow missionary with the SVD order. We had great times in college. May eternal light shine upon him.

To the entire Horstman family, my sincere condolences & Prayers

when John was a SVD Missionary he said Mass at the Bordentown Monastery of Poor Clares. I was sacristan and so got to know John and his wonderful sense of humor. Johan also gave beautiful homilies. May John who is now in the Presence of the Prince of Peace intercede for all those he loved and who loved him.

Catherine, I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
