Not sure what to say?

I just heard about your dad Liz, and am just reflecting on all the times many of us enjoyed growing up near the Howard Household. Both your parents were an inspiration to me in how they always seemed to have a great perspective on life ... so happy, funny and loving to all. Your dad was a true gentleman and I will always remember his friendly smile and welcoming voice. My thoughts are with you all.

Dear Patty, John, Perry & Liz,
We wanted to let you all know that we are thinking of you and are very sorry to hear of John's passing. We enjoyed so very much being your neighbors on Minnehaha Parkway, and have many fond memories of our families being together in all sorts of activities (e.g., Kick the Can, the huge sandbox in the Howard's yard, the swingset in the DeBeck's yard, and our little dog, Chipper barking the whole time!) On behalf of the 3 DeBeck kids, we send love from:...

Dear Patty, Johnnie, Liz, and Perry:
So sorry to hear of the passing of John. We were very great friends and were neighbors for some 35 years. I have very fond memories of playing ping-pong with John just about every Sunday afternoon and the cocktails that followed. All of you have our most sincere condolences.

My parents were close friends of your family, and I have fond memories of seeing John (and the rest of you) at church, always with a radiant smile. Be comforted and keep him in your hearts forever.

Mary and I are saddened by John's passing, all of us at Horizon Agency owe him so much as he was the founder of the Agency and his memory lives on. Thank you Patty for sharing him with us.

Dear Family and Friends,

It was so sad to hear of John's passing. I have so many memories of his beaming smile and infectious laugh. I enjoyed watching as a child from the top of the stairs all the fun my parents had with he and Patty. John will be greatly missed by so many that he brought joy to.

Pat & Family - We are saddened about your loss and we know you will find comfort in the wonderful memories you have of John. I have known John since working at Horizon Agency since 1985 - I loved hearing his stories about his tennis and it was amazing that he continued to play until 86 years old...good for him. He was a delight as you are and we hold you up in prayer during this time. God Bless you all.

So many fond memories of the Howard's home on the parkway! Liz, I know you were always your Daddy's girl. I am so glad that you were able to be there for him as he left this life and moved on to be with the Lord.
Love, Amy Arundel Dwyer
