so sorry about the passing of john. I have so many fond memories of our friendship in the dc area and our times together at pine ridge and bradford. John always challenged himself during those years and it sounds like even though we lost contact over the years, he continued challenging himself in recent years even with health issues. I know he is in a better place and not suffering. But he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go to his family.

John was the light of KC. His energy, smile and laughter was contagious. My heart breaks for his family and friends but I know one day I will see you again my beautiful, creative friend! Much love hun. You will forever be missed and will always hold a special place in my heart.

John was a great artist & inspiration to others. Many times he proudly showed me his sketches that had beautifully blended colors.
John was always happy. I never saw him angry or sad. His favorite phrase was Peace Love & Understanding! he would put the peace sign up whenever he would say it, with a huge grin.

During Holidays & special events, he would often wear funky funny-socks! You name it, he probably had a pair. I will miss that.
