Not sure what to say?

UP-HILL
Does the road wind up-hill all the way?
Yes, to the very end.
Will the day's journey take the whole day?
From morn to night, my friend.
But is there for the night a resting place?
A roof for when the slow dark hours begin.
May not the darkness hide it from my face?
You cannot miss that inn.
Shall I meet other wayfarers at night?
Those who have gone before.
Then must I knock, or call when just in
sight?
They will not keep you...

I'm so sorry for the loss of this good man, John always had a smile on his face from the first time I ever saw him, all legs and a poof of hair to just hearing of his health and the crisis of enduring complications. I'll always remember his voice, his goofy laugh and genuine love he gave. He's missed but he's ok, he's with people who love him and no more suffering. Love to you all. Xox

I'm so sorry for ur loss. I never met him but I felt like I had through his family's eyes.

Mary, Bob & Eldon , Cathy, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, as well as the rest of your family! May John rest in peace, and be with your other family loved ones, who have since past on.

Eldon, Mary and the Howick family. I am very sorry for your lose.

I will miss his smile, the way he looked at me when I had a bad day, the way he had a way with showing compassion and love. I will always remember the times he went camping with us, and fishing " Howick's Cove" I will miss him everyday he was an amazing uncle and friend. Someone I look up to for the battle he fought and never gave up. He will always be one of my favorite memories.. Until we meet again Uncle John I love you so much!
