It is with great sadness that I am writing this note. Mr. Huerta was a great mentor and beacon of light to the founding members of Omega Delta Phi, the first Hispanic Fraternity on the U of A campus. His words of encouragement, caution, challenge, and praise set in place a level of expectation that we wanted to exceed. Mr. Huerta never told us "no" he only asked how? who? why? how long? and how can I help? He was a straight shooter with praise and constructive ideas. His mentoring has...
