I am thinking of all of you and am sorry about your loss. When I think of John C, I am struck by how proud he was of his family and how much he loved you. I always picture him hugging his grandchildren.

Dear Nancy,Nan,Wendy,John,Mike, and Betsy
My earliest Iron Springs memories with your Family were Sebastian and Mr Hughes' smiling face. In later years we would meet and greet along the Squaw Peak trail he was in his 70's and hiked like a young man. Dad, Heather and I will all miss him.

My father respected John Hughes and followed his advice. Growing up and even into my adult years, I heard many stories about John's wisdom. Thank you for sharing him with us. My condolences to the entire Hughes family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Hughes family. The thing I remember most about Mr. Hughes is the smile he always had when speaking about his family. In addition to all things he accomplished in life, he appeared most gratified to be a very proud father. That should always be remembered.
