Bob, Genevieve, Susan, Bill, and extended family of John Hughes; please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of John!
Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing John, it is evident that he was a most accomplished and remarkable young gentleman! Woodstock and the rural community have lost a true treasure, but, our Faith sustains us that John's soul lives on and the spirit in which he lived should be an inspiration to us all!
My thoughts and prayers are with the Hughes...

Our sympathy to John's family. We only met him a few times and he was very friendly and reflected the personality expressed in his obituary. Those characters will remain strong in his family's memory.
Sincerely, the Jim Dodd family

John was a great friend and a gentle, sweet, humble man. I will miss discussing politics, sports, or religion with him but most of all I will just miss him. He and I enjoyed direct communication and held nothing back from each other whenever we visited, he was pure and real. I will miss you buddy.
